Women in Advertising Production & FairFX to host boat party

Women in Advertising Production (WAP), in partnership with FairFX, will host a boat party aboard the RS Hispaniola in London. Taking place Thursday June 7^th from 6pm-9pm, the party will offer a chance for women working in the advertising industry to network over a chilled glass of rosé and a spot of fish and chips, all while taking in the wonderful views of London from the River Thames.

Mariette Ferreira, Head of Marketing at FairFX adds: “we are already helping to make expense management easier for various production companies across film and TV including the likes of Netflix, Warner Brothers and ITN, but we’re keen to learn more about this industry. That is why we’re hosting the boat party alongside WAP to learn, to meet great people and to help give women in the production industry all the tools they need to succeed. Everyone joining us will have the same opportunity to learn, build their networks of great female producers and have a great night doing so.”

WAP Founder, Jessica aan de Wiel explains: “I’m really pleased to have FairFX partnering up on our pre-Cannes Lions WAP boat party. FairFX has an amazing expense management platform which I am certain would be of interest to many people in the industry. WAP events are well attended and serve as the backdrop for many great industry connections. On the night there will be some delicious food, drinks and a fabulous view of London from the river. The event will precede WAP’s presence at this year’s Cannes Lions Festival which will include a discussion about sexual misconduct in the advertising industry, in partnership with FairFX and Story: We Produce.
