The FOCUS Green Zone returns, and it is bigger than ever

It’s impossible to ignore the current conversation around sustainability, and it is evident that the need to address these issues has never been more pressing. That’s why FOCUS 2018 will have an expanded Green Zone, an area solely dedicated to promoting sustainable and eco-friendly production.

Environmental-Footprint-300x208Created in association with AdGreen and BAFTA’s albert,  who are leading the way on reversing climate change by promoting sustainable living both behind the camera and on screen, the Green Zone is an opportunity to engage with suppliers who provide eco-friendly choices without compromising on creativity.

Jo Coombes, founder of Adgreen explains “It's been great to see our involvement in Focus grow, and to have our own 'Green Zone' this year - I'm really excited for the event. We've a growing group of suppliers with a sustainable focus to their business and it's fantastic to have them all in one place for a couple of days. The sessions we're presenting in our classroom are the icing on the cake and will give people a chance to really connect with those who are putting greener production into practice”.

Aaron Matthews from albert adds that, ‘To crack climate change we need to make great connections between good people. Focus is the perfect place’.Untitled

Suppliers exhibiting in the Green Zone include Sargent-Disc, Green Tomato Cars, Greenkit, RIMMS, Hazgreen, Excel Executive Ltd, Sunbeam Studios, Casting Networks, Quantum Waste, Get Set Hire, Fuel Cell Systems, Dramatify, Good Energy and City Harvest.

This year, the Green Academy will host sessions promoting workable solutions for a more environmentally friendly sector. Sessions include practical guidance on sustainable production design, cutting carbon emissions and getting more out of your travel budgets as well as powering remote locations without a carbon footprint. Sign up now to hear from industry professionals who have successfully put these ideas into practice.

A Green Zone drinks reception will be held on Wednesday 5th December 3.30-4.30pm, the perfect opportunity to chat sustainability whilst getting in the festive spirit.  Register here to attend.
