    • - The GBP30 million commercial fund is the Welsh Government’s principal route to production funding for TV and film productions and is delivered in collaboration with Pinewood Pictures. The fund can invest in high end television and film projects and consists of debt, mezzanine and equity funding and can also cashflow tax credits with decisions to invest being made on a case by case basis. In order to ascertain eligibility, productions should complete an expression of interest and submit the script, budget, finance plan showing other investors, sales estimates, evidence of any confirmed pre sales and details of cast and key personnel attached. 35-40% of the below-the-line production budget must be spent on Welsh Production Expenditure.
