Criteria to access the benefit
  • - Minimum percentage of the film that must be shot in the region: 50.00%
  • - Minimum spend 5000000 (in local currency)
When will the benefit/incentive be received?
    Additional incentives or advantages
    • - An interstate production company must spend at least 80% of the total budget in NSW. International co-productions with an interstate production company must spend at least 80% of the total Australian budget in NSW. The 50/80% requirement will be relaxed in the following circumstances: where the eligible NSW Spend is at least $5 million. Projects receiving Screen NSW production finance of between $100,000 and $200,000 must provide for one paid production attachment. Priority to be given for attachments to be placed in roles in line with screen NSW gender equity targets. Projects receiving finance of $200,000 or above must provide two attachments – one to be female, in line with NSW gender equity targets.
