David Lewis

Dave has, among other things, travelled the world, worked for a video post-production house in London and achieved a degree in film studies. He also has a post-grad in printing and publishing, and has worked for a number of UK publishing companies.

He has worked full-time for Little Brown Publishing, the contract publishers The Communications Team, working with a number of blue-chip companies including Barclays, Abbey National, GE Capital, NPower and the retailers House of Fraser, the internet start-up netimperative.com and Emap.

Dave has also worked as a freelancer, establishing a reputation as a directories expert, producing Music Week, Credit Today, The Shots Directory, The Production Guide and The Location Guide.

When The Location Guide split from Emap, David was asked to join the team. Dave is still responsible for the production of The Location Guide but has also extended his remit to include editorial control of both the guide and the website, including the newsletter.

Dave is married, has two daughters, and works remotely from his office in Brighton.

New film fund launched


UK finance and production company Future Films and Canadian based Mediabiz International have launched a joint film fund. They will invest in co-productions from the UK, Europe and Canada.
