Why do you want to go from SL to the Maldives to shoot this? You must have all these Maldive filming locations in SL.
I can think of very few infinity pools that match your brief for the last shot than this one in Kalpitiya that I visited whilst doing a location recce of Sri Lanka a few years ago:
