Miami’s music scene comes to the screen in Netflix’s Neon. Co-created by executive producers Shea Serrano and Max Searle, who also serves as showrunner, the eight part series follows the journey of three friends making it through the challenges of the music industry. Reggaetón star Daddy Yankee, also serves as executive producer on the show, which is set for release on 19 October.

In an effort to uncover Elliot’s roots, the series moves on from its former Australian outback setting. With the first look into the production shared on 21 October, the project, filmed in Colombia, will give viewers an intimate look into the making of the universe of García Márquez’s One Hundred Years of Solitude.
