Filming in Lebanon

Lebanon is an important regional hub for television, commercial and music video production.
Divided into a narrow coastal plain, the Bekaa Valley and two mountain ranges, Lebanon provides a variety of locations in a relatively small area. It is possible to be shooting on the beach in the morning and be setting up in the snow that same afternoon.

Lebanon’s close proximity to Europe, mild climate, improving crew and equipment levels and cost-effectiveness make it a destination worth considering.

Climate

Lebanon has a mild-to-moderate climate. On the Mediterranean coast, temperatures range from 20C to 30C. Long periods are common at any time of the year, even in the middle of January or February. The mountains are very close to the coast and the city. They can be covered with snow in the winter from 1,000m and above. Seasons are the same as in other Mediterranean countries.
