Ken Loach has filmed his new feature Route Irish in Liverpool, Manchester and Jordan, doubling the latter for Iraq. Jordan offers similar terrain and weather without the obvious security risks. The film tells the story of a private contractor investigating a colleague’s Iraq death.
Yukon has launched a new promotional web series for regional location filming, with a trailer screening in Times Square until the end of March 2011. In a fictional dramatic story available on the Yukonic website, two filmmakers travel across Yukon searching for gold to fund a film project.
