Gyeonggi entices Americans with USD100 million

South Korea’s Gyeonggi province has announced details of a substantial investment fund for Korean and American joint ventures.

Kim Byung-heon of the Gyeonggi Digital Contents Agency, said: "We're planning to put together a USD100 million global content fund with the backing of international venture capital groups."

The fund will invest in movies, animation and game projects which have a global appeal and will be partly managed by the Korean Film Council.
