2008 film revenues for Illinois pass USD141 million
According to reelchicago.com, the State of Illinois' 2008 film revenues have edged a little closer to the 2007 record of USD155 million thanks to Michael Mann's blockbuster Public Enemies.
It is estimated that the film spent USD25 in the state last year. Nine features and one TV series contributed USD132.5 million to the total, while spot production tumbled to USD18.5 million, the Illinois Film Office has reported.
