ADFEST postponed due to fear of Thai political unrest
The Asia Pacific Advertising Festival (ADFEST), the biggest of its type in Asia and due to be held in Pattaya, Thailand, has been postponed as a result of fears of political turbulence in the country.
Originally scheduled for 18th to 20th March, the ADFEST Working Committee has announced plans to hold it sometime in May instead, although specific dates have not yet been confirmed.
Violence and civil unrest is feared in Thailand as the country’s Supreme Court decides whether former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra abused his power while in office.
