ADFEST announces delay to Lotus Awards judging

ADFEST has announced that the Lotus Awards judging has been delayed as a result of the political unrest in Bangkok. The judging had been scheduled for 24th to 28th May 2010 but the ADFEST team cannot currently get hold of their passports and visas from the Japanese embassy in Bangkok.

Vinit Suraphongchai, Chairman of the Working Committee, said: “We are determined to ensure that the Lotus Awards judging takes place, despite all the obstacles we have faced this year, and I would like to thank everyone who has been so patient and understanding in this difficult time for ADFEST and the people of Thailand.”

The judging will still take place in Tokyo but no new dates have yet been confirmed.
