Women Victims of War call for Angelina Jolie meeting in Bosnia

Members of the Women Victims of War (WVW) group in Bosnia want to meet with Angelina Jolie to talk about the shooting of her untitled directorial debut.

Jolie has had a tough time with the film in recent weeks ever since her Bosnian filming permit was briefly revoked following false rumours about the story content.

The WVW has voiced concerns about the film misrepresenting history and said: “Angelina made a big mistake. We feel that she did not act like a real UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) ambassador and we believe that she has no more credibility to remain the ambassador.”

Local sentiment against the production became so strong that the number of location shoot days in the country was halved. Jolie originally said she would meet with the WVW, but this hasn’t yet happened.
