Cannes Lions 2012 shifts back to usual dates

Cannes Lions 2012 will be happening on the usual dates of 17th to 23rd June, and not two weeks earlier as had been previously announced by the festival organisers. The festival was being planned earlier to enable the city of Cannes to carry out improvement work on the Palais des Festivals, but this has now been postponed.

Festival organisers said: “We apologise if you have already adjusted your calendar or made venue bookings, but after consulting with many people in the industry our delegates have told us overwhelmingly that they would prefer to revert to the traditional Cannes Lions dates.”

So, we’ll see you 17th to 23rd June in 2012!
