Overall 2011 was a good year for Pinewood Shepperton, with the studios showing an impressive 24% rise in film revenue on the previous year. The healthy overall figure masks a slight dip in the second half of the year.

Ivan Dunleavy is Chief Executive: “The ongoing demand from big-budget films and large-scale television shows for our unique facilities remains resilient. Our international strategy continues to deliver growth and further opportunity to extend the Pinewood brand overseas. Against these record results the company is well positioned to develop its activities.”

Pinewood Shepperton hosted a series of high-profile feature projects in 2011, including Ridley Scott’s Prometheus, Snow White and the Huntsman, Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows and new James Bond film Skyfall.
