New Screen Flanders fund to be launched at Cannes Film Festival
Belgium’s new Screen Flanders fund will be launched next week at the Cannes Film Festival. Worth EUR5 million annually, the fund will be accessible for features, documentaries and animations, with a EUR400,000 per-project cap.
Location Flanders states: “Screen Flanders is aimed at attracting more international film productions to Flanders, Belgium. There are close links between Screen Flanders and Location Flanders. The new fund will be managed by the Flanders Audiovisual Fund.”
The full regulations relating to the fund are still being finalised, but more details will be available in Cannes when the programme is launched.
