Hammer follows Woman in Black with The Quiet Ones on location in Oxfordshire

British horror studio Hammer has begun filming its new feature on location in Oxfordshire. The Quiet Ones tells the story of an unorthodox professor who decides to create a poltergeist using negative human energy and comes after the success of The Woman in Black.

Hammer states: “The Quiet Ones marks Hammer’s next production after the worldwide box office hit The Woman in Black, starring Daniel Radcliffe, which has taken over USD130 million at the box-office worldwide to date.”

The Woman in Black was based at Pinewood Studios but also used Cotterstock Hall near the village of Oundle in Northamptonshire for exterior shots of the story’s Eel Marsh House.
