Biggest floating pool filming location available in Antwerp

Antwerp in Belgium is now home to Badboot, a floating facility that offers a swimming pool, restaurant and event space. It’s the biggest floating pool in the world.

The venue is managed by local creative agency King George and is available to production companies around the world as a potential filming location. Badboot is 120 metres long and was built at a cost of EUR3 million. During the wintertime the pool facility has an optional use as an ice-skating rink.

Antwerp itself is in the Flanders region of northern Belgium. The city offers a rich architectural history and filming incentive schemes including the Belgian Tax Shelter system can be a boost for visiting productions.

Badboot is near the Eurocam Film Studios, which offers ten sound stages set across 11,000 square metres of floor space.
