Sonny/Premiere Heure stage 007 action on location in Prague for Coke Zero

Prague is the setting for 007-inspired stunt action in a new spot for Coke Zero from Premiere Heure and Sonny. Unlock The 007 In You shows a young man harnessing the spirit of James Bond as he chases a bored girl across a city in a series of eye-catching stunt set-pieces.

Director Guy Manwaring chose Prague over Budapest for the shoot, although the city itself is intended to be non-specific. Filming took place over four days with basic stunt co-ordination needed for the different action set-pieces.

The spot was shot in central Prague. The locations were chosen for their look and of course access and logistics in relation to each other.

Fady Salame, Line Producer

Fady Salame produced for Unit+Sofa in Prague: “The spot was shot in central Prague. The locations were chosen for their look and of course access and logistics in relation to each other. It looks like a big stunt set-up, but in reality it was simpler that it looks.

“We had to block a bridge and a few streets but that is almost a standard on every outdoor shoot in the city. Just getting the permits in time is sometimes tricky.”

One of the set-pieces involves the lead actor jumping across the Vltava River. He uses a series of rowing boats as stepping-stones, which may be a playful nod to Roger Moore’s daring alligator crossing in Live and Let Die. The stunt involved setting up a wire rig across the river with a specialist harness for the actor that was then painted out in post-production.

Premiere Heure concludes: “Prague is a great place to shoot. We go there on a very regular basis. The locations are diverse and look very western European. But it's also great to shoot in studios over there. And the teams are very professional and efficient.”
