Cannes Lions Soiree Partner 2014: Advertising Producers Association
Advertising Producers Association (APA) has joined The Location Guide as a partner for our Soiree at the Cannes Lions Festival. The APA represents the interests of UK production companies in the commercials industry, through production, post-production and visual effects.
“We’re delighted to be part of the Cannes Soiree again this year,” says APA head Steve Davies: “It is an event that works very well for our members, providing networking opportunities with a wide variety of companies from around the world, in a location and at a time that is conducive to those conversations."
“That is part of our mission at Cannes," Davies adds: "To provide our members with a framework of valuable events in Cannes which are free for them to attend. That helps them get the most out of the networking and learning opportunities that Cannes provides.
“At our core, the APA provides standard contracts and production advice which is a vital resource for our members, but helping them create opportunities to get more good quality work is an increasingly important part of our role and something our members greatly value. The Cannes Soiree is part of that.”
Young Directors Award is run through the APA’s London offices, with shortlisted films shown and winners announced at a Cannes screening event that takes place at the same time as the Cannes Lions Festival.
