MADAM hits up Central London for Pepsi commercial shoot

UK-based Production Service Company MADAM has utilised the best of Central London in a new commercial for the world-famous Pepsi soft drink. Spanish Production Company OVIDEO oversaw the project which filmed in a number of locations worldwide while MADAM was enlisted to help with the UK portion of the shoot.

The production shot on location for just one day throughout Westminster and at Battersea Park in the Borough of Wandsworth.

The commercial features Arsenal footballer Mohamed Elneny, telling the story of his rise to fame and his passion for football that he carried with him throughout his childhood.

Director Pablo Rosso notes: ‘the beauty of working with MADAM is the knowledge that everything around you is being produced with efficiency and attention to detail. Thanks for making us feel at home!”

Executive Producer of MADAM, Michelle Stapleton adds: “our amazing location team worked tirelessly in order to permit Battersea Park and surrounding areas then move to nearby hotel The Park Plaza on Westminster Bridge. Not only was the challenge to keep all the locations near to one another but find ones that could accommodate a crew and cast of 80 people and truck loads of equipment.”

Despite a lack of film incentive programmes in place for commercials, the UK sees hundreds of on location shoots per year. London is a consistently popular filming location for commercials, partly due to its iconic landmarks which have a worldwide reputation.

MADAM’s previous work includes a spot for Marriott Rewards at Kings Cross St. Pancras and one for German company, Sparkssenverband Hessen Thüringen shot at the Sky Garden in London’s infamous Walkie Talkie building.
