1.4 joins The Location Beach Lounge at Cannes Lions 2017
1.4 provides editorial coverage of the very best of emerging talent throughout the film, television and commercials industries. The organisation will also be unveiling its very own award ceremony later this year.
The company was founded by Lyndy Stout, who worked for over a decade as an Editor for Shots magazine, and also acted as the Deputy Editor for Creative Review.
Lyndy explains: “being part of TLG’s Beach Lounge at Rado Plage on June 22nd and 23rd is a wonderful opportunity for 1.4 to have meetings with newcomers and old friends in one relaxed place, right by the sea.”
She continues: “we’re always scouring the world for the best and boldest filmmaking talent to showcase on 1.4’s online magazine and at the 1.4 Awards Show in London in September, so we’d love to have conversations about any short-form work made over the last 18 months and also about filmmakers who haven’t arrived on our radar yet. I’m really looking forward to it.”
From June 19th, The Location Beach Lounge will take over the Rado Plage on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10am to 5pm.

In addition to 1.4, the current list of confirmed partners includes the Advertising Producers Association, LIMELITE, Family Film, Dreamaker Productions, Made in Lisbon, Film Produkcja and Mother & Dragons.
