Boyle (Killer Assistant) and produced by Vociferous Films, Hunted By My Ex tells the story of Chloe, played by Tamara Braun, who flees her abusive marriage only to find similar obstacles in her hometown.

Producer Gilles Laplante details: "we are thrilled to have been back in Albuquerque, New Mexico with our latest film, Hunted By My Ex. This was our third production in Albuquerque. The city welcomed us into their bustling film community in December 2016 and again in March 2017. We've been grateful to work with such talented cast and crew that the state has to offer, Albuquerque is quickly becoming a leading and competitive resource to the film industry. We're excited to continue exploring all that New Mexico has to offer as well as upcoming productions for a busy 2018!”

New Mexico provides one of the most competitive production hubs in the United States. The local industry is incentivised by tax credits of up to 30%, available to projects that spend at least one shoot day within the state. No minimum spend is required to access the incentive.

The state enjoys a constant flow of production activity as a result of the incentive. The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, the first collaboration between Netflix and the critically acclaimed Coen Brothers is currently being shot on location in Santa Fe.
