The 1.4 Awards Show is open to entries
Entries for the annual 1.4 Awards Show are open! For the third year running, the awards will recognise the most compelling short-form content from around the world.
1.4, the online magazine curated by shots former editor Lyndy Stout has garnered a reputation for discovering and promoting work from the most creative short-form filmmakers working today. The spirit of the site will be brought to life for one night only to champion the talent behind this year’s freshest short films, branded content, music videos and commercials.
On Wednesday 21st November in Shoreditch, London, work from new talent on the cusp of greatness will sit alongside that of high-flying directors. An international jury of decision makers handpick submissions for the showcase and selected candidates will walk away with gold and silver medals. The 2017 gold medal winners went to Oscar Hudson with Bonobo, No Reason by Pulse Films, Young Replicant (Alex Takacs) for Alt J, 3WW by Pulse Films and The Blaze with Territory by Iconoclast.
Previous long-listed filmmakers have seen recognition from production companies, labels, agencies and filmmaking peers surge after the award selection so make sure your work is in for the running.
Work submitted must be less than 15 minutes long and made within the last 18 months. Standard entry is open until October 1st, while late entries can be submitted until the 17th October. Click here to enter your work.
