The Gerety Awards Deadline of April 1st is Fast Approaching
The Gerety Awards deadline is in just 7 days time. The award whose call for entries film with a compelling throwback to Frances Gerety - the copywriter which the award takes it name from- was viewed over twenty thousand times is sending out a reminder on the deadline.
There are 10 executive judging sessions held around the world that will create the shortlist. The same media is judged together in the CUT/category into which it was entered. A numerical voting system is then used and winners will be determined by the absolute scores achieved regardless of the product advertised or medium submitted.
The Gerety Awards Jury includes some of the world’s leading agency and brand creatives such as:
- Tea Uglow, Founding Member Google Creative Lab, Australia
- Mira Kaddoura (pictured), CCO & Owner Red & Co, USA
- Eva Santos, Global CCO, Proximity, Spain
- Arina Avdeeva, Founder and CCO, Friends Moscow, Russia
All types of media can be entered into any of the Gerety Awards’ 9 categories called CUTS, (like a diamond) Media, Innovation, Entertainment, Communication, Craft, Experience, Works for Good, Health and Portfolios. All advertising works broadcast between January 2018 and the deadline are eligible for entry and the works are judged on two criteria: originality of the idea and its execution.
