Thriller I saw a Man with Yellow Eyes filming in Florida

The psychological thriller is currently filming in Tampa and St Petersburg, Florida.

Written and directed by Floridian native Castille Landon, the feature film stars Katherine Heigl (Grey’s Anatomy, 27 Dresses), Harry Connick Jr. (Dolphin Tale 2, The Iron Giant) and Madison Iseman (Jumaniji: Welcome to the Jungle, Riot Girls).

Following the life of a teenage girl living with schizophrenia who begins to suspect her neighbour has kidnapped a child, the film brings into question themes of mental health, tragedy, grief, unconditional love and hope. Heigl commented on the film saying “Not only am I proud to be collaborating with a talented female director…but I get to be a part of telling a story that touches on themes I believe to be incredibly relevant and meaningful”.

Pinstripe Productions is producing the project alongside Zero Gravity Management.

Although Florida does not currently have a state wide film incentive, both St Petersburg / Clearwater and Film Tampa Bay's Hillsborough County provide local incentives of up to 10% of qualified spend. The St Petersberg local incentive requires no minimum spend to access the rebate, but has a maximum of USD500,000 is available to productions each year.  Tampa’s Hillsborough County provides the rebate to qualifying productions with local spends of over USD100,000 and is also subject to availability of funds.
