FOCUS announces first wave of speakers
Over one-hundred and fifty speakers from the film and TV, documentary, advertising, gaming and animation industries will feature in more than seventy sessions, with the overarching theme of “Forces of Change – What’s Next?”.
The first wave have already been announced with names including Karen Kelly, Executive Producer at Channel 4, Simon Devereux, Head of learning & Development at The Mill, Wayne Marc Godfrey, Producer & CEO of Purely Capital, a new supply-chain platform to automate and streamline financing and representatives from leading industry bodies such as Anna Mansi, Head of Certification, BFI in the two-day programme. International speakers include Amber Dodson, Film Liaison at City of Albuquerque and Lori Balton founding member of the LMGI (Location Managers Guild International).
For the first time, Production Service Network is sponsoring the 2019 content programme, which features a record number of free-to attend keynotes, panels, masterclasses, workshops and presentations. Sessions already announced include Composing Video Game Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier, Future Proofing Filming in London, Going Global – Discovering New Markets, as well as the straight 8 shootout premiere. Designed to cover the hot topic in film, TV, advertising, animation and games the content is developed in consultation with a Content Advisory Board, curated by Sue Hayes and presented with media partner Variety. Leading industry bodies on the Content Advisory Board include Pact, The Production Guild, Directors UK, BFI, BFC, UK Screen Alliance, Creative Europe UK, ScreenSkills, Advertising Producers Association and Women in Film & TV.
