The Location Managers Guild International to stream 2021 awards

The Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) Awards will be streamed on Saturday 23 October 2021. The awards are an internationally recognised celebration of the outstanding contributions of location professionals in feature film, television and commercial advertising.

The awards spotlight our craft, honoring productions in which the creative use of filming locations sets the tone, enriches the character and inspires the storytelling narrative. Film commissions are celebrated for their exemplary service. Honorary awards include the Humanitarian, Lifetime Achievement, Trailblazer and the Eva Monley Award (which recognises and honours industry members who support the work of location professionals).

This year brought the LMGI its biggest challenge to date! It received almost 300 qualified submissions from around the world, each one better than the last in its capacity to demonstrate how locations enrich the art of filmmaking. Refining these submissions to a field of finalists was a vigorous and challenging process. The LMGI heartily applauds them all and wishes each and everyone of the nominees the best of luck.
