Goldenchild creative studio launches

Creative studio Goldenchild has launched in Los Angeles. Collaborating with brands, agencies and performance artists, Goldenchild  draws on the roster’s breadth of expertise in a range of disciplines, from traditional live action and photography to animation, CGI, AI, virtual reality, and augmented reality techniques. Affiliated to Golden LA studios, the new facility will bring its own roster of highly talented creatives and the leadership of Dutch-born director, designer and artist Fons Schiedon as Executive Creative Director.

“Goldenchild's parents, Matthew Marquis and Pierre Nobile, and I have been friends for a while. It's a great little family,” said Schiedon, who’s done numerous with Golden LA. “This new initiative allows us to work in the way we all work best—flexibly, project-oriented, and using a full range of creative technology.”

The product of managing director Mattthew Marquis and executive producer Pierre Nobile, Goldenchild is aiming to bring a new dimension to visual storytelling. After working together on the visuals for Beyoncé’s ‘Formation’ tour, Nobile and Schiedon have brought together a host of likeminded creatives that can be found on the Goldenchild roster. Joining the team as executive creative director and one of the first directors on the roster, Schiedon brings his experience creating visuals for Beyoncé, designing Michelle Obama’s documentary Becoming as well as working with brands such as MTV, Motorola, Nickelodeon and many others.

“Fons has expertise in every type of media that Goldenchild delivers,” said Nobile. “He’s versatile, curious, and above all, is an incomparable and eager creative partner when ambitious projects are thrown our way.”

Goldenchild’s specialized roster includes French director, artist, and designer Hugo Richel known for his sleek work with high-fashion clients that explore the connection between digital art forms like VR, and nature; Anime-inspired Canadian creative director, Henrique Barone; and Swiss-based Get It, with a specialty in playful, colorful, type-driven motion design and typography.
