TLG to celebrate the future of creativity at Cannes Lions 70

The Location Guide team will join the thousands of attendees from across the world on their return to the French Riviera for this year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. Communications and advertising professionals will come together and share their insights into the developments of their respective fields and the need to know findings for the future. From trending business strategies and the ongoing developments of AI in the creative industry to knowing how to understand and serve the next generation of content consumers, the diverse roster of speakers will ensure no shortness of perspectives to learn from.

Across five days, those in attendance at Cannes Lions 70 will become well acquainted with the coastal spread of activity from the central hub of The Palais, the multitude of companies on the beach and everything in between. From all facets of the creative media industry, a culmination of highly skilled professionals will share talks on diversity, channeling creativity and preparing for the future of the industry. Whether it be one half of Run-DMC Darryl McDaniels speaking on Hip-Hop’s impact on understanding nutrition, Smashing Stereotypes with Black Panther Actress Danai Guerira, or finding the balance between art and technology with Meta and Coperni, from hour to hour, nothing remains the same.

In addition, creative industry heavy hitters will be honoured for their contributions, including Entertainment Person of the Year Kevin Hart who will speak at a seminar recognising his achievement. Marking his first time at Cannes Lions, Hart will delve deeper into his creation HARTBEAT and speak on what it means to explore creative inspiration in the entertainment space. Legendary filmmaker Spike Lee will also be in attendance, receiving the inaugural Creative Maker of the Year title on the final morning of the festival.

At the heart of it all is the creativity, with panelists sharing their thoughts on the importance of harnessing that in a growing business minded industry. Keke Palmer sits with Amazon to discuss the next generation of streaming content on Tuesday 20 June as WGSN look to the consumer in 2025 equipping audiences and businesses alike with what the future can bring. With an overarching theme of looking to the future, whatever that may look like from a logistics point of view, consumer perspective or brand engagement, this Cannes Lions will keep attendees ahead of the curve for what is to come in the industry.
