The PGGB appoints Michael Hunter as head of marketing and communications

Today The Production Guild of Great Britain has appointed Michael Hunter as head of marketing and communications. The ex-Film London marketeer brings four years of experience at his former post monitoring branding, design and events for the screen agency and manging social media and marketing for Edinburgh Film Festival and Filmhouse Cinema in Scotland.

 

Michael Hunter, PGGB head of marketing and communications says: “I am hugely excited to be part of an organisation as prestigious as The Production Guild of Great Britain, and to be supporting our members and screen sector partners to ensure the UK remains one of the greatest places in the world to produce exceptional screen content.”

The PGGB has witnessed a rise in engagement in the past years, including an increase in post-pandemic training which multiplied four fold, as well as building up its membership to an impressive 1,050. With the development of its regional committees, the PGGB have established a presence across Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Bristol, as well as South West England, North West England and Yorkshire. Based at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, the PGGB brings together the UK’s top production professionals active across the industry.
