PGGB announces Jonny Shelton’s arrival as membership talent executive

The Production Guild of Great Britain announced today the instatement of Jonny Shelton as membership talent executive, based out of the north west of England. Shelton joins from his 6 year period working at Creative UK in film and HETV. In addition to his talent development role, the new hire will include overseeing PGGB’s inaugural membership mentoring scheme.

Shelton commented on his new role: “I’m keen to ensure that those working across the film and TV landscape, in all regions of the UK are able to flourish.   I can’t wait to get started.”

 

In line with the PGGB’s continued commitment to uplifting the nation’s and regions, Shelton’s arrival will add to the organisation’s provision of industry advice, employment opportunities, training, networking and seminars.

 

Commenting on Shelton’s arrival, Lyndsay Duthie, PGGB’s CEO said, “This is the first time we’ve had a staff role based in the Nations and Regions and this reaffirms our commitment to rolling out that plan.   We’re delighted to have Jonny join Team PGGB.  His experience and knowledge of upcoming productions will be invaluable for our availability service.  Jonny will also lead on our inaugural membership mentoring scheme, marking another first for the Guild.  We’re excited to match up our extraordinarily talented members and follow their career journeys.   Jonny will be a huge asset and we can’t wait to welcome him on board.”
