Sue Quinn to receive Lifetime Achievement award at 11th LMGI Awards
Veteran supervising location manager Sue Quinn will honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s LMGI Awards. Known for work on acclaimed projects such as the Fantastic Beasts, Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean franchises. This year’s ceremony will return to Los Angeles on 24 August 2024.

Over an impressive three decades of experience, Quinn has mastered the integration of real life locations into the magical worlds of almost 40 films. Other notable projects award recipient include Notting Hill, Gambit, Love Actually, The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Gosford Park, Elizabeth, Succession, Dirty Pretty things, and Watchmen. Amongst her location feats, she won the Producers Guild Award for her work on Edge of Tomorrow, the first production to gain permission to land a helicopter in Trafalgar Square. With an astute attention to detail, the long time location manager has scouted across China, Brazil, Vietnam, Thailand, Portugal, France, Sweden, Germany, Spain, Italy, Barbados, and many more.
This year marks the LMGI Awards’ 11th year of honouring the creative visual contributions of location professionals in international film, television and commercials. Categories for the Outstanding Location Awards are presented in the Contemporary Film, Period Film, Contemporary TV, Period TV, TV Serial Program/Anthology/Limited Series, Commercials and Film Commissions categories. LMGI Awards Committee Co-Chairs are John Rakich, LMGI President, and Nancy Haecker, LMGI. This year’s awards are produced by Erick Weiss, Honeysweet Creative, and IngleDodd Media.
