The UK Creative Festival to celebrate best of British creativity
From 10-11 July, the UK Creative Festival will take place at Dreamland in Margate. The festival will host the UK’s only Creative Careers Fair, The Best of British Creativity exhibition, and end with the 79th Creative Circle Awards. Welcoming creatives at every level, the festival will partner with Global, BA Diversity Media, Sparks, and many more.
The Location Guide are looking forward to attending the upcoming UK Creative Festival. With a focus on creatives across all stages of their careers in the industry, the festival centres around the Creative Careers Fair. Organised by The Creative Foundation, the programme will conduct workshops hosted by Global, the Media & Entertainment Group, Sparks, and Experience Haus, bringing the expertise and knowledge to the young creatives and those looking to enter the industry. Included amongst the workshops will be a Tiktok centred session led by executive creative director Tom Skinner, discussing the social networks entrepreneurial access.

With their BA Diversity Media sponsorship, the festival will produce a two-part Best of British Creativity TV show filmed at the festival. To an audience of over 10 million worldwide, the show will be broadcast through GenB TV. This show will allow the festival to promote the richness of British creativity to a global audience, establishing more outreach and influence. The festival will also partner with Young Creatives UK, a social enterprise enabling cultural activation for young people, run by young people. Providing access for young creatives up until the age of 25 for free, the festival is making access to industry expertise accessible through a numberof sessions. They will also set up their own studio space.
Young Creator’s Company Director, Nhu Huynh, has said: “It's a chance to be placed right in the heartbeat of the UK's creative and advertising scene. UK Creative Festival has opened the door to the industry for us, and we are going to keep it open for young, underrepresented creatives.”
To close of the events on 11 July, the Creative Circle Awards will honour the best cerative campaigns from various disciplines. All the shortlisted work for the Awards will be featured during the Best of British Creative Exhibition. The exhibition will showcase across fashion, architecture, art and other creative industries.
