fivefold studios brings virtual production to Wales
Wales has welcomed new state of the art virtual production facility fivefold studios situated at the infamous Dragon Studios. Launched to elevate the fil and TV infrastructure of the region, the site boats studio and office space measuring in at 12,000 sq. ft, as well as a 5000 sq. ft fixed green screen cove, Europe’s largest.

Virtual production studios are a key element for many local industries to have in their back pocket. Now with the new studio, the country’s production capabilities will be enhanced by the comprehensive production services offered by studios with the use of in-camera visual effects, performance capture solutions and advanced AI production tools.

It also further commits to our ambitions of building a greener, fairer, globally connected media sector fit for the future.”
In addition to the new facility, fivefold will lead a series of training programmes in partnership with Media Cymru, providing participants with crucial industry based teaching, equipping the next generation of professionals with specialist knowledge and skills. fivefold studios are one of Media Cymru’s 23 consortium partners. Media Cymru is a collaboration tasked with developing Wales media sector into a global hub for innovation with a focus on green and fair economic growth.
