All That's Left of You (اللي باقي منك) is an upcoming drama film directed by Palestinian-American filmmaker Cherien Dabis. Revolving round the experiences of a Palestinian family across three generations, the film highlights themes of displacement and resilience. The film is slated for its world premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival on 25 January.

16 years after her debut with Amreeka at Sundance and Cannes Film Festival, and following her 2013 Sundance appearance with May, Dabis returns to the sunshine state based festival with All That's Left of You (اللي باقي منك). The production, originally set to take place in various locations within Palestine, including cities such as Jaffa, Tel Aviv, and Haifa. These locations were chosen to authentically represent the family's historical and emotional journey, providing a genuine backdrop that resonates with the film's themes.
However, just two weeks before principal photography was scheduled to commence, the eruption of conflict in the region posed significant challenges to the production, with the unfolding of events necessitating the evacuation of the international crew from Jaffa, where they were conducting technical preparations. The escalating tensions and safety concerns made it untenable to proceed with filming in the planned Palestinian locations.
Faced with these unforeseen challenges, Dabis and her team made the strategic decision to relocate the production to Cyprus and Greece, identifying sites that could convincingly stand in for the intended locales, ensuring that the film's visual and emotional integrity remained intact. This move required an extensive re-preparation process, as the new locations needed to be adapted to authentically represent the original Palestinian settings.
In addition to Cyprus and Greece, the production also included filming in the Gaza and Souf refugee camps located in northern Jordan. These locations were integral to portraying certain aspects of the family's narrative, providing a poignant and realistic depiction of the refugee experience. Shooting in these camps added depth to the film's exploration of displacement and identity, grounding the story in real-world contexts that mirror the characters' journeys.
Alongside taking to the helm of the film, Dabis stars in All That's Left of You (اللي باقي منك) with Saleh Bakri, Adam Bakri, Mahammad Bakri, Maria Zreik, Muhammad Abed Elrahman. The film's cinematography, led by Lebanese-German Director of Photography Christopher Aoun, known for his work on Capernaum and The Man Who Sold His Skin, played a crucial role in unifying the diverse filming locations.
