LMGI announce 2025 Board of Directors

The Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) has unveiled its 2025 Board of Directors including Andrea Keener (Georgia, USA), Mo Qazzaz (Alberta, Canada), and Kay Pointing Wilson (Greater London, UK) bring a wealth of experience and fresh perspectives to the board.

Andrea Keener's impressive portfolio includes major films like Ant-Man, Captain America, and Killers of the Flower Moon, as well as television series such as Cold Case and Scandal. Mo Qazzaz, a two-time LMGI Award winner, has contributed to acclaimed productions like Fargo and The Last of Us. Kay Pointing Wilson's credits feature Venom: The Last Dance and Father Brown, and she actively participates in organisations like BECTU and the Television Access Project Production Spaces.

These new board members join re-elected directors Danny Finn (California, USA), Angus Ledgerwood (New York, USA), Robin Macdonald (British Columbia, Canada), Edward Mazurek (California, USA), and Scott Trimble (California, USA). The executive committee for 2025 includes President John Rakich, 1st Vice President Angus Ledgerwood, 2nd Vice President Danny Finn, Treasurer Edward Mazurek, and Secretary Lisa Scope.

“With eight open board seats and 18 excellent candidates, the 2025 election results once again tallied the most votes and the most candidates in LMGI history," commented Mazurek. "This is a testament to our nominees’ professionalism and superb reputations, as well as the engagement of our membership. Congratulations to our elected 2025 Board Members.”

President Rakich, now in his fourth term, expressed gratitude for the continued support from LMGI members and the board's trust in his leadership. He acknowledged the contributions of outgoing board members Jimmy Ayoub (NY), Mac Gordon (GA), and Alison Taylor (CA), highlighting their dedication and impact on the organisation.

 “Alison A. Taylor has been a vital part of this organisation for eight years, serving on the Executive Committee, as well as many other leadership roles and committees," remarked LMGI vice president Danny Finn. "An icon in our craft of Location Management, she has profoundly impacted the LMGI and its members. Alison’s presence on the board will be greatly missed. The LMGI also thanks Ayoub, our longest-serving board member, for his years of leadership and NY region development. We also thank Gordon for his work on the Membership and Education Committees, and for spearheading skill-building events in Atlanta. Their impact will be felt for years to come.”

The LMGI, established in 2003, is a global organisation representing location professionals across various media industries. It focuses on advancing the craft of location scouting and management, offering networking and educational opportunities to its members. The upcoming 12th Annual LMGI Awards, scheduled for August 23, 2025, will continue to honour the vital role of filming locations in storytelling. Submissions are open until May 5, 2025.
