Bridging the Dragon’s Sino-European Forum & Pitching calls for entries

Applications are now open until Friday 10 January 2019. Returning to the European Film Market for the sixth consecutive year, the intensive one-day Sino-European Forum and Pitching is designed to facilitate effective partnerships between the Chinese and European markets. Panels and case studies introducing the latest developments of the Chinese market are followed by pitching sessions from both Chinese projects and European participants.

Bridging the Dragon note “the opportunities for Sino-Euorpean collaboration continue to grow but one of the biggest challenges remains having access to the right information and resources. As well as increasing the knowledge of Europeans on the Chinese market, this years event with include a new format focusing on the pitching of Chinese projects that are looking for opportunities in Europe”.

The application deadline has been extended to 10 January 2019, European film professionals can apply here. Selection results will be announce by late January ahead of the event on Wednesday 26 February 2020 at the EFM Producers Hub of the Gropius Bau in Berlin.
