Short filmmaking competition straight 8 shootout returns to the Croisette for the screening of the daring entrants. Presented in partnership with the APA and Cinelab Film+Digital with support from SHOTS, Warner Chappell Production Music and MACHINESHOP, the projects will undergo a live vote in Cannes with a trophy ceremony to round of the events.

The shootout had a nature theme, following up after the Isolation Edition in 2020. Competing companies included Agile Films, Caviar, Dog Eat Dog, Familia, Gear Room, Groundglass, Iris Worldwide, The Lift, Mullen Lowe, Pitch and Sync, Presence, Prodigious, The Producers, Pulse Films and Yolafilmo.
