The Production Guild of Great Britain (PGGB) has launched a new diversity and Inclusion action Group (DIAG) tasked with shaping an action plan to improve diversity in the UK’s film and television production workforce behind the camera.

Manderley, a fictional country house is integral to Daphne de Maurier’s 1938 psychological thriller Rebecca, which opens with the iconic lines “Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again”. The house itself is such a central character that production designer Sarah Greenwood (Sherlock Holmes, Beauty and the Beast) knew it needed to seem new and unique. Eight UK country houses and estates were amalgamated for the Netflix adaptation.
Wolf is the first independent film supported by Screen Ireland to shoot during the Covid-19 pandemic. The feature written and directed by Mathalie Biancheri (Nocturnal) is produced by Jessie Fisk of Feline Films and Jane Doolan of Mammoth Films and co-produced by Mariusz Wlodarski and Agnieszka Wasiak of Lava Film in Poland.
