Additional incentives or advantages | - - In order to access the grant, feature films and animated films must have a minimum production budget of at least EUR600,000, EUR250,000 for documentaries and EUR12,000 per minute for high-end TV series.
The per-project cap is set at EUR1.5 million and a single applicant has an extended cap of EUR2 million per year. To receive the full 35% rate, feature films must incur at least 75% of their post-production costs within the Netherlands, in addition to the required EUR100,000 spend on local production costs. Alternatively, the 35% rate can be obtained if no other local film funds are used by a given production.
30% advance payment of the contribution is possible after the signing of the production agreement for film productions. Further payment takes place after completion within eight weeks after submitting required documents.
