Falabella films colourful fashion commercial on location in Greek islands

Production team Francisca Contesse, Louis Bronsard and Director Martín Romanella from Procine Santiago concluded another job for agency Dittborn & Unzueta and Falabella regional. Valeria Mazza shot in Santorini Greece and did all her own driving, piloting and ocean-based underwater scenes.

Some equipment, like underwater housing, lenses and filter, had to be flown in from England and other EU countries. Overall the camera grips and light crew was friendly and highly professional.

Secondary casting was done in Athens. Although the high season complicated things, the casting was more than satisfying. Procine’s one-day shoot worked perfectly, creatively and logistically, with London-based Director of Photography Philip Blaubach supervising the three camera units.

The main shoot took place in the village of Oia and Mark Silk took charge of underwater cinematography off the island of Saint Nikolas on the Thera volcano. Laboratory and light transfer facilities were found in Athens and at the end of the day Editor Diego Panish from Buenos Aires concluded this fun job. Procine Santiago was serviced in Greece by Green Olive Films under the stewardship of Maria Kopanou and her first-rate Athens crew.

Some equipment, like underwater housing, lenses and filter, had to be flown in from England and other EU countries. Overall the camera grips and light crew was friendly and highly professional. They came to the job motivated and energetic. Accommodation on the island of Santorini and in Athens for crew, agency and client was first-class and everyone was treated to Greek Mediterranean specialties over the five-day shoot.
