Industry lobbies Florida Legislature for stronger film incentives

Members of the Florida film industry are lobbying the State Legislature to pass a bill to restore the competitiveness of the state's incentives.

Organisations such as the Florida Film Production Coalition and Film Florida are asking for tax credits of between 25% and 30% for in-state spending on such projects as feature films and digital media. The State saw incentives cut from USD25 million to USD5 million in 2008.
