Amanda Lind, Sweden’s Minister of Culture and Democracy, has announced that new production incentives will be introduced for the nation’s film and television industries. Lind detailed that in 2022 the incentive would be capped at USD11.6 million, or SEK100 million.
Nova Scotia government is adding CAD23.6 million to the Nova Scotia Film and Television Production Incentive Fund, nearly doubling the size to CAD48.6 million. Some of the major productions currently shooting in Nova Scotia is drama anthology The Sinner, Canadian legal drama Diggstown.

It have been designed to attract higher impact film and television productions to the state. Oklahoma is currently hosting Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon, its largest feature project to date.
California state governor Gavin Newsom has announced a USD30 million boost to the film and television tax credits as part of a USD100 billion "California Roars Back Plan". The funding is thanks to California's USD100 billion budget surplus. Housing, drought and water infrastructure are other areas the plan is tackling with large financial investment.
HBO's The Flight Attendant (pictured) will relocate from New York and TBS sitcom Chad will move production from British Colombia in receipt of the relocating TV series tax credit allocation.
