Major vehicle manufacturer VW has filmed on location in India for a photo shoot advertising its Polo car. The campaign will run alongside its television commercials that doubled South Africa for India. The photo shoot production shot in several locations throughout the country, including Rajasthan, Jim Corbett National Park, Pune and Lonavala, both in western India.
American house-moving firm Mayflower has shot its latest commercial on location in Los Angeles using a 20-foot-tall marionette called Audrey. Big Move shows Audrey walking slowly across an American landscape, openly operated by a team of puppeteers. She is followed by a removals bus and eventually settles on a recliner outside her new suburban home.
Major home decorating brand Dulux has filmed a new commercial in the city of Jodhpur in the Rajasthan region of north-west India. The shoot was part of the company’s Let’s Colour project, which has also involved travelling to Rio de Janeiro, London and Paris to bring additional colour to the spaces.
A music video for Finnish band Husky Rescue has been filmed in the forest region of Sipoo, near Helsinki in Finland. They Are Coming follows a young couple as they encounter a strange alien light on a forest road in the middle of the night and they attempt to escape it. Hanna Mutanen, Managing Director of and Executive Producer with Grillifilms, said: “Director Pete Riski liked the location because the road and big trees formed a perfect surrounding for this gloomy story.”
Kathryn Bigelow has run into a potential problem during the pre-production of her new film. The project has the working title Triple Frontiers and the story is to be set in the region of South America where the borders of Paraguay, Brazil and Argentina meet.

Global jewellery brand Cartier has used Buenos Aires to double for Paris in a new spot scheduled for release in early May. The spot tells a story of a stylish gentleman slipping past security at an official dinner before meeting a glamorous woman and escaping with an expensive piece of jewellery.
Major motoring manufacturer Suzuki has filmed scenes for a new commercial at Cuddeback Dry Lake Bed in California. Rich Guys sells Suzuki’s new Kizashi and intends to challenge the perception that great quality is only available to wealthy customers.
