The Hollywood heavyweight has directed a series of spots titled Hennessy X.O. – Experience Worlds of Greatness that will be released in seven episodes due for official release in 2019. The campaign is produced through Scott’s production company RSA which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
Film London and the Vancouver Film Commission have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to recognise and enhance the creative and business links between the two cities. The memorandum was signed today at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Marisa Romanov starts production at the beginning of September and the shoot will span between two locations, basing itself between Tbilisi in Georgia and LA. The first episode of the BBC’s The Bodyguard has aired this week. The six-part crime drama from the makers of Line of Duty filmed scenes in and around London over a six-month period. Production had to make sure members of the public were not alarmed by the startling scenes during filming.

Netflix and CBC have renewed the series for a third season to comprise of ten hour-long episodes. The announcement has been made before the second season is aired on the Canadian CBC network. Netflix, which handles US and international distribution, released the second series to continued success at the beginning of July.

The first live-action adaptation of the “Dora the Explorer” franchise has begun principal photography in Australia’s Gold Coast. Paramount’s youth division Paramount Players has entered a co-production and financing deal with Walden Media. The feature film has received funding from Queensland Screen having committed to shooting solely in the North-Eastern state.
In mid-August 2018, areas of the UK’s city of Liverpool were transformed into the US capital for seasons 3 and 4 of the big-budget Netflix period drama The Crown. The Left Bank Pictures production is the latest in a long line to double Liverpool for American cities such as New York and Washington DC.
