Surrey Film Office

The Surrey Film Office is an economic development initiative, created by Surrey County Council.

Our aim is to promote Surrey as a first class filming location, by connecting the film industry with our key contacts and locations around the county, making Surrey more film-friendly and helping to boost the local economy.

Surrey has played host to a number of major feature films and TV dramas including Beauty & the Beast, The Holiday, Wonder Woman, Gladiator, The Crown, Downton Abbey and Call the Midwife, to name but a few.

Home to Shepperton Studios and Longcross Film Studios, Surrey is located within close reach of London, and Heathrow and Gatwick airports, as well as offering great links with the South East region.

Famously known for locations such as Hampton Court Palace and Top Gear’s Dunsfold Park, Surrey is also named the most wooded county in England, offering an abundance of woodland locations and landscape backdrops.
