Film AlUla is The Royal Commission for AlUla’s film agency, established to promote and support film and TV production in the County of AlUla, situated in northwest Saudi Arabia. Its mission is to position AlUla as an exciting and cost-effective new film destination to the global industry and is developing a film-friendly ecosystem.

AlUla is an area of outstanding natural and cultural significance and features some of the world’s most sensational scenery. It is home to 200,000 years of history, including the ancient city of Hegra, the Kingdom’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The extraordinary pristine sweeping vistas are the perfect backdrop for a wide range of genres such as historical epics, fantasy adventures, extra-terrestrial worlds, and dramatic war movies, and can stand in for an array of different locations, countries, cities, or even another period in time.

Productions are encouraged to get in touch to discuss the 40% cash rebate programme "Film Saudi" and support incentives including location scouting, filming permits, introductions to a pipeline of companies, services, and local talent along with accommodation, and visa support.
