Chester Zoo
Chester Zoo is a world-leading conservation charity that’s home to more than 27,000 animals from 500 different species - set in hundreds of immersive, vibrant and diverse spaces on 650 acres of land.
We’re a versatile setting for film, TV and photo opportunities. The zoo itself features recreations of some of the world’s most unique landscapes from Madagascar, Latin America, Bali and India, as well as exquisite gardens, play areas, restaurants, stunning Grade II listed buildings and education hubs. Our wider estate features lush countryside, dense woodlands, residential houses, farms, barns and much more.
As well as over 100 filming locations, we can provide extras like parking, unique zoo access, world-class security, production crew workspaces, talent dressing rooms, catering and lots more.
From the BAFTA-nominated series ‘The Secret Life of the Zoo’, to shows spanning across major networks streamers like the BBC and Netflix, we’ve extensive experience working with production crews and we’d love to welcome your next film, TV or photography project.
We’re a not-for-profit hub for global conservation, so when you choose us for your location, not only will our dedicated team give you a wonderful experience, but you’ll be helping us to create a future where nature can thrive.
